The Geeker Report Appoints James “Coach Bud” Atkinson as Head of Football Geek

The Geeker Report, a sports media and entertainment organization dedicated to mentoring and providing positive recognition for teens and young adults, proudly announces the appointment of James “Coach Bud” Atkinson as its new Head of Football Geek.

A former Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) defensive lineman turned football coach, Atkinson brings over a decade of coaching experience at both the high school and middle school levels. His deep football knowledge, coupled with his passion for developing young athletes, makes him an ideal fit for The Geeker Report’s mission to inspire and empower youth.

Atkinson has built a reputation for his deep dives into game film, innovative stat tracking, and ability to translate complex strategies into engaging content for fans of all levels. His primary responsibility with The Geeker Report will be to highlight, interview, and identify the top football players and teams in the state, while also discovering and showcasing those hidden talents who have yet to be recognized.

Under his leadership, The Geeker Report will expand its football content, offering more in-depth analysis, exclusive interviews, and interactive features — all while continuing to mentor and positively impact young people through sports.
